Update

3k+ visits. I didn't expect that so soon. Granted, that's not even a drop in the bucket compared to some artists on dA, but I'm proud of that 3k. This calls for a sketch of some sort... Someone suggest something! The winning suggestion will receive a print of whatever they suggest. No deadline for this... I'll post an entry when I decide on a suggestion. Please send suggestions by private message.


Tasks


  • Finish commission for my manager,

  • Put together a portfolio for Digipen, (done, needs to be sent off)

  • Finish DnD character sketches for friends (almost done, one Dwarf to go)

  • Finish promised sketches to Akuti, Azrayel, Lauli, and Haze, (Rough sketches completed, shade and/or color)

  • Finish character design sketches for Orlanin. (Gathering references for designs)



Goals


  • Do more commissions,

  • Improve on foreshortening and extreme perspective skills [Making progress],

  • Increase overall speed [Making progress],

  • Make practice sketches daily that have nothing to do with my current projects [Currently meeting goal, sort of]

  • Improve CS2 painting skills.

Yay, you got it! I was worried it hadn't made it... It is hard at first, but it becomes second nature after awhile. I still prefer sketching things out on paper, but the tablet makes coloring so much easier in photoshop. I'm glad you're back. Hope to see you on FFXI soon. ^_^
